Brightstone Clinic recently celebrated a successful first year of offering low cost counselling services to people in Cheshire.
The Clinic’s counsellors and management team met for a ‘Happy 1st Birthday’ celebration at The Hope Street Centre in Sandbach, which Brightstone uses as its base.
Outreach and Development Worker Ann Webster, who helped to establish and launch the Clinic said: ‘It was a great day. I feel immensely proud to be a part of an organisation offering such high quality support to local people who need it’.
The success of the Clinic can be traced back to its strong foundations in the early stages, supportive partnership working with The Hope Street Centre and a dedicated team of professionals who continually seek to provide a safe and ethical service.
Clients who have accessed counselling support over the last year have appreciated the choice that the service offers, as many would otherwise have been on a long list waiting for treatment through their GP surgery.
Brightstone’s Clinic and Management team have recently doubled their team of counsellors, and are now keen to spread the word further so that more people within the local area know that there is a lower cost counselling option available if they need it.
